General Information

When should I arrive and depart?
Arrivals should be planned for before 6pm on Friday, September 15 and departures should be planned for after 12pm (meaning at 1/2pm flight) on Sunday, September 17. If you plan to attend a pre-conference activity or would like to take advantage of our Ask the Experts sessions, we recommend arriving prior to noon on Friday, September 15.

Can I bring my spouse, partner or children to OncoCloud ‘17?
Yes, you may bring up to two guests to OncoCloud ‘17 at no charge, however, Flatiron will only cover one hotel room.

Who attended OncoCloud ‘16?
We had over 230 customers and prospective customers from over 100 community oncology practices attend OncoCloud ‘16. This included around 65 MD/C-level executives.

What are the evening activities at OncoCloud ‘17?
There is a welcome reception at The Encore on Friday, September 15 at 6pm. On Saturday, September 16, the evening event will be at Intrigue Nightclub at the Wynn Las Vegas. The Encore and Wynn properties are connected.

What is the dress code for OncoCloud ‘17?
The dress code is business casual.

What is the cancellation policy for OncoCloud ‘17?
Flatiron covers the cost of the conference and hotel room for 2 nights, however, if you cancel after September 1, you will be responsible for the cost of the hotel room for two nights (room rate = $274/night + tax).

What is the weather like in Las Vegas in September?
In September, the average high is 95 degrees fahrenheit and the average low is 66 degrees fahrenheit. While it will be warm, it is still a good idea to bring a sweater as the conference rooms tend to be cold!

What are the different workshop tracks? And who should attend each track?
There are four workshop tracks:
  • Business of Oncology: Track recommended for practice administrators, C-suite, billing staff
  • Value-based Care: Track recommended for practice admins, C-suite, MDs, APPs, Nurses, Billing staff, value-based care staff
  • Clinical Research: Track recommended for research staff, MDs, nurses, APPs
  • Technology: Track recommended for MDs, APPs, practice admins, C-suite, nurses, IT staff
Will you be hosting customer office hours and ask the experts sessions this year?
Yes! These sessions will be combined into one station called “Ask the Experts” which will provide attendees with the opportunity to talk one-on-one with Flatiron experts to discuss certified workflows and best practices in OncoEMR. Ask the Experts will be offered on a first come, first served basis on Friday, September 15 from 1:00-5:00 pm PST and again on Saturday, September 16 throughout the day.

Am I required to sign up for sessions that I want to attend?
No. This year you do not need to sign up for sessions in advance of the conference.

Will I be able to get technical support at OncoCloud ‘17?
Yes. We will have an “Ask the Experts” station where you can speak to product specialists, engineers and customer success staff about any of your questions.
